Lightning Round Questions

One of my favorite things about Tim Ferriss’s Tools of Titans and Tribe of Mentors is that he has a question index. He’ll ask a few common questions across multiple podcasts guests so then in the books he can provide an index pointing everyone’s answers for particular questions.

Here’s an example from Tribe of Mentors:

These, I think, originated from his lightning round questions. These are usually where the common questions come in. I don’t think he’s the first to do a lightning round in a podcast (and it was probably pretty common for interviews before podcasts) but he does come to mind whenever I hear a lightning round on another podcast.

Anyway, this is a long way of saying that I thought it’d be good to put a list of lightning round questions together that people ask. And then slowly populate it with posts whenever I hear people answering them. The goal isn’t to be comprehensive here. But if it was worth writing a post about, it’d be good to capture it here.

It could be a useful resource if you’re putting your own interview podcast together and are thinking of doing a lightning round segment yourself.

I’ll start with this first one.
